Not enough, but too much care…

Not Enough, but Plenty of Care.
The obsession of two women, their connection to nature, and a 25-year-old dream…
There are some phrases that sound like slogans but actually describe a character.
"Not enough, but plenty of care" is exactly such a phrase for us.
This motto wasn't born in NOI's marketing department!
It was born in our kitchen.
It was born on the margins of notebooks.
It was born in moments when the phrase "I don't think it's good enough" was uttered for the fifth time in a row.
And mostly in these moments:
In those moments when we think we've completed a product and its presentation, my companion and I make eye contact.
And in that look, there's a single question:
"Is this it… or should we tinker with it a bit more?"
This is now a non-verbal language between us.
Sometimes a single raised eyebrow is enough.
Sometimes a deep sigh.
And sometimes, that famous phrase comes:
"I don't think it's good enough."
Many a formula has ended up in the trash with this phrase.
As they say,
"Many brave souls have perished on this path"...
But we weren't sad.
Because we weren't looking for "good enough,"
we were looking for what "felt right to us."
Where does this obsession come from?
This story isn't new.
It goes back approximately 25 years.
My companion and I studied university together in İzmir with extremely modest means.
A mattress on the floor, a useless refrigerator, our ancient wringer washing machine, and us…
Television? You joker; of course, there wasn't one :)
Tea + biscuits were our staple diet.
Despite this lack, we were full of endless dreams.
A large bouquet of dried flowers hanging on the wall serving as our television…
And us seriously making up programs and commenting on them…
That was just one example :)
We had a tiny electric heater to warm ourselves.
The conversations we had sitting cross-legged on the floor in its light in the evenings still leave such a delicious taste in our mouths today…
Our main topic of conversation was this:
"What will be the difference that makes us who we are, on the path we will walk together?"
Perhaps we didn't know what kind of work we would do.
But we knew this:
We would do it together.
We would create at the same table.
We would strive for success shoulder to shoulder.
NOİ,
is the current realization of those dreams forged in the light of that heater.
Perhaps that's why making money was never our priority.
Our concern has always been this:
To do our best together…
Why isn't "enough" enough for us? Are we insatiable???
Well… maybe a little bit of that too :)
But the main issue is this:
Because "enough" generally means:
✔ Gets the job done
✔ Acceptable
✔ Not bad
✔ Usable
These are the equivalents of "enough."
And when you look at it this way… didn't it seem insufficient to you too?
For us, the goal is:
✔ Powerful content
✔ Clear stance
✔ Enjoyable to use
✔ Products with a ritual
In other words, products that are good not just for the skin, but for life.
Imagine a soap:
It shouldn't just clean, it should make you feel good too.
Imagine an oil:
It shouldn't just be applied, it should create a moment.
This is what we mean by "plenty of care."
So, where does this care extend to?
Everywhere…
• When developing products
• When preparing labels
• When choosing boxes
• When taking photos
• When writing texts
• When packaging orders
• When sharing on Instagram
The same question always comes up:
"Could it be a little bit better?"
And most of the time the answer is:
"It could be."
That's why on our side:
– The content of a product can be reworked countless times until it's "just right."
– A visual can wait for days.
– A text can be changed repeatedly.
– A shipping box can be redesigned three times.
– A product photo can be taken countless times.
Because we believe this:
Even if no one else notices, we will.
And until we tell ourselves "it's done,"
nothing is considered complete.
When you look around…
There are many natural products, many handmade products, but not every product has the same effort.
Our claim is this:
At NOI, nothing is left as "good enough."
No formula is completed with a shrug of "it's done."
No detail is overlooked with "no one will notice."
Because we know that:
Care is visible, care is felt, care is understood over time.
And sometimes the biggest difference is hidden in unnoticed details.
That's why:
Not enough, but plenty of care.
And perhaps that's why, with every new product, every share, and every step we take regarding our work, we still look at the dream we built in the light of that old heater and ask:
"Could it be better?"
